  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: September 5, 2024 at 10:00:00 a.m. PDT

    Draw
    Prize Raffle draw: September 5, 2024 at 12:00:00 p.m. PDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at Comox Valley Project Watershed Offices 2356a Rosewall Crescent Courtenay, BC V9N 8R9

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://projectwatershed.rafflenexus.com/winners on September 5, 2024.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Comox Valley Project Watershed Society.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Comox Valley Project Watershed Society or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Comox Valley Project Watershed Society does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: info@projectwatershed.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at info@projectwatershed.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

Enter to win a ticket to Project Watershed’s ‘Paintings, By The Numbers’ event, which comes with a glass of wine, a locally made amuse-bouche and an original Ken Kirkby valued between $1,000 and $8,000. All proceeds from this raffle and event go towards Project Watershed’s ecological restoration, research and education work in the Comox Valley.

Project Watershed is a registered non-profit environmental society focused on sensitive habitat stewardship. Current projects are focused on research and restoration of eelgrass, saltmarsh, kelp, salmonid and forage fish habitat. Project Watershed’s most ambitious project is returning the Kus-kus-sum site, located along Comox Road next to the 17th street bridge, to natural habitat in partnership with the City of Courtenay and the K’ómoks First Nation.

Internationally renowned painter, Ken Kirkby, was a strong Project Watershed supporter, and donated 50 of his paintings to Project Watershed prior to his death on June 20, 2023. It was his wish that they be used to raise funds for environmental restoration, research and education on Vancouver Island.
